Welcome to my site.
I am Simon Levy, a student at a four-year liberal arts school in Maine.
I study Computer Science, Economics, and Administrative Science, which is a fancy title for business and management studies.
As far as computer work goes I am extremely interested in software engineering and development. I have experience working with several programming languages, the object oriented design process, software architecture, and am trying to learn more about usability.
My economics background is limited to my four-year undergraduate degree and currently I am working on a research paper involving the determinates for a U.S. based software company to extend beyond domestic production. This involves an in depth study of foreign direct investment outflows and the measures of software distribution.
As far as business goes, I aspire to one day be a manager of sorts, and ultimately an entrepreneur. Currently I am working a project called pinkysearch, which is a firefox extension to increase the speed in which you search the web by enabling a user to enter a search after hitting a key accessible from the home row.
When i'm not studying or working on projects I am very interested in cooking, playing soccer, or snowboarding when the weather is right.
